I have visited your website so many times but only just noticed you have a guestbook!

Walker Pickle Days for 2010 is scheduled for July 29-31. Plan now and we hope to see you in town.

I got on your website to check the parade time for this year and decided I needed to express my appreciation to all of you coordinating the town celebration. I know the work involved, being a Jaycee in C.P for many years. Most people have no idea all of the behind the scenes work that needs to be done to make it all run so smoothly. Please let everyone know that all of their efforts and hard work are greatly appreciated and much needed to keep the community alive. Thank you!

We will be holding our 2nd Annual 5K Run/Walk this year and we have added a 1-mile Fun Run just for kids ages 12 and younger. Keep checking back and I'll get the registration form posted. Until then, you can find it at www.fitnesssports.com by clicking on July, scrolling down to July 25th for Walker Pickle Days 5K and click on entry form.

So far, the Walker Betterment Club has not been involved with hiring any of the great bands that have performed on Friday and Saturday evenings at Pickle Days. You would need to contact either the Corner Tavern or Winn's Alley about this.

The Trux band played last year for the Walker Pickle Days. It would be an honor if we could do it again this year. Please keep us in mind so we can make our plans. www.thetrux.com

There is a bar called Winn's Alley its a great place to have some fun!! They have some great bands on occasion!! Check them out.
