Jen - thanks for suggestions and thanks for coming. We had granola bars for the 5K and we actually had some left overs. They most likely did not see them, so I can make sure they're in the same vicinity as the water.

"Gherky" the dancing pickle had fun! Next time Gherky wants to be by the walkers in the parade as the vehicles upfront were racing thru and Gherky had a hard time keeping up! Red truck behind Gherky wanted to speed things up too! Yikes. Gherky liked the pace of the last half of the parade much better! Crowd was great. Thanks!
Some of Gherky's friends ran the 5K and suggested that there be bananas or granola bars or something to offer the runners after the race. They told Gherky that a lot of the races they run in offer something at the end other than water. Just a suggestion. They had fun!!
